Beyond Bridges, A Free Networking Event for Immigrant Engineering and Technology Professionals

Are you an immigrant who is employed or seeking employment as an engineer, technologist or technician? Then this is the event for you! Join us for a special event that will gather engineers and technologists in the Lower Mainland to connect with industry professionals, understand diversity in the workplace, and learn job search strategies. 
Representatives from regulatory bodies, employers, and membership organizations in the engineering field will also be there to share valuable information and answer your questions. Don’t miss this opportunity. This event takes place on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 9.30am-4.00pm. Location: Alice Mackay room, Central Public Library, 350 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC. Refreshment and lunch to be provided.

The next class of Communication for Engineering and Technology from Vancouver Community College, English as an Additional Language Department will start from April 8th to July 10th, 2019 on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-9:30. The class is tuition free, but there are test fees of $60. There is also a required textbook. Students can register from November 30th at either the downtown campus or at Broadway Campus.
