About SITE BC

SITE BC (Society of Internationally Trained Engineers of British Columbia) is an independent non-profit society founded in 2004 to represent the interests of British Columbia's internationally trained engineering community (ITEs).

The creation of SITE BC was sponsored by the Federal Department of Canadian Heritage and facilitated through a coalition of local organizations, namely BC ITP Net. From May 2003 till March 2004, an active core of volunteer ITEs worked tirelessly to lay the foundation of the Society.
