SITE BC is looking for volunteers to help developing strategic projects. Volunteering at SITE BC is not only helping Internationally Trained Engineers, it is also a unique occasion of using your skills, developing new ones and creating contacts with members and professionals.

Our website constantly needs to be updated and improved to look professional and attractive. As this projects requires a lot of work, it has been split into smaller tasks that can be managed by busy volunteers with website design and computer skills.

Write specifications for new design.

Identify weak points of our website, gather opinion from members and other professionals, suggest solutions, compare with other websites' design, write and update a report to be used to define a new design. This is a challenging project requiring a lot of Internet research, a good sense of observation, and understanding how websites are created and maintained. Several volunteers are welcome to discuss different options. Create the new website

Use the report described above to create a new format that meet the criteria. Updating the design of our website will be done gradually in the order you will suggest to the Public Relations Committee. If you have strong website design skills, your help will be a definite asset for SITE BC. Skills in PHP and Javascript would be useful.
